It's been a busy 6 months for me so far. For the first 5 months I had been travelling outside Singapore for different purposes. I also just changed job scope few months ago. It's pretty exciting and hectic 6 months and I'm hoping more good things happen to me for the rest half year ahead.

Since it's mid year already, I was thinking to review my resolutions for this year, see if I'm on track and maybe add more things into my list (being greedy ^_^).
At the beginning of this year, I made a list of my 2013 resolutions which I posted here on my blog. The bigger picture, I want to be healthier, more frugal, and happier. I also did some posts on small acts to accomplish my 2013 resolutions.
My 2013 resolution acts: clean up my wallet, visit new places, never pay in full price, spring clean emails and online subscriptions
Among them, there are few things that I want to add to my 2013 resolutions list.
1. Being a volunteer
I don't know when it started. But some people inspired me to do more for my surroundings. I'm not doing much, frankly speaking. But I do hope I can contribute a bit to a better world. I just did a volunteer work with CityCare few weeks ago. It's really a different experience for me. Read about my experience here.
2. Improving myself
In many possible ways, I do hope to improve myself to a better person. I want to learn something everyday. That way I will feel more fulfilled each day. The first step is to learn from my daily life happenings and to learn from people around us. Even though it may not be obvious but try to take at least 1 lesson from your day. The next one is to learn from internet or books. Here in Singapore, I get good access to Internet. There are a lot of libraries with huge collection of interesting books too. So why not using them? Lastly, if you have the budget, you can spend some amount of money to take course on the stuffs you're interested into.
What about your 2013 resolution? Are they on track?
